Points to be noted for visiting Spiti Valley:

  1.  Respect the local culture and customs: Spiti Valley is home to diverse cultures and traditions. Be respectful and ask for permission before taking photos of people or their property.
  2. Carry warm clothing: Spiti can get very cold, even in summer. Pack warm clothing, including layers and thermal wear. Bring -10°C winter down jacket with you.
  3. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to avoid altitude sickness. Carry a refillable water bottle.
  4. Network connectivity: Jio, Airtel and BSNL works the best but if you have VI sim it will stop working on the first day itself.
  5. Dry Washroom: In winters due to extreme cold, water becomes a luxury asset so in that case dry washroom is used.
  6. There can be road closures during the course of the trip, any cost due to that will not be paid by the company.
  7. Plan for emergencies: Spiti is secluded, so carry basic medical supplies or your ongoing medicines. Our trip captain will also be carrying first aid box and oxygen can.
  8. Don't litter: Dispose of your trash properly and avoid leaving any waste behind.
  9. Don't disturb wildlife: Spiti has unique flora and fauna; do not disrupt the local wildlife.
  10. Don't engage in disrespectful behavior: Avoid any actions that may offend the local population or fellow travelers.
  11. Don't expect modern amenities: Spiti is remote, infrastructure is basic and raw in nature, so don't expect the same level of comfort or luxury as in urban areas.

What Client Say About us

I recently had the most incredible experience on a winter expedition to Spiti Valley with Enlive Trips, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly planned and professionally managed. Traveling to Spiti in winter is not easy, but the entire team ensured that we felt safe, comfortable, and completely stress-free throughout the journey. A heartfelt thanks to Captain Prashant Kumar and Ahmad Ali for their exceptional support and care. Captain Prashant’s nature is genuinely the best — calm, positive, humble, and always motivating everyone with his smile. His leadership, experience, and responsible approach gave us great confidence while exploring the breathtaking snowy landscapes. Ahmad Ali was equally supportive and attentive, always making sure every detail was handled smoothly and that everyone in the group was comfortable and happy. A very special appreciation to our driver, Vikas Agnihotri, who was honestly one of the best driver-cum-pilots I have ever traveled with. Driving through the challenging winter roads of Spiti requires great skill, and he handled it with absolute perfection. He was not only an amazing driver but also very interactive, friendly, and had a truly unique nature among all of them. His positive attitude and engaging personality made long travel hours enjoyable and memorable. This trip was filled with adventure, laughter, beautiful views, and unforgettable memories. I highly recommend Enlive Trips to anyone looking for a safe, well-organized, and truly extraordinary travel experience. Thank you for giving us the very best time — I’m already looking forward to my next trip with you!

Winter Spiti was my first trip with Enlive Trips, and it’s one I’ll always remember. The trip was very well organized, and the cap Vaibhav were truly amazing. They made sure everything in the itinerary was covered on time and kept the group spirit high throughout. I really liked their friendly nature; from their jokes to the fun games they planned, everything was great. It was one of my best trips so far. The group was amazing too, and I really enjoyed spending time with everyone. I’ll surely be planning more trips with Enlive Trips in the future. Also, a big thanks to the captains for being so helpful and understanding. They took care of everyone’s health at such high altitudes, made fun reels at the world’s highest motorable village, Komic, and kept the energy up even in the cold weather at Kaza. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with Enlive Trips, and I’m already looking forward to my next trip with them
